How to add DirectAdmin mail accounts to Microsoft Outlook Print

✅ Configure Email in Outlook

Required information

 

  • Email address: e.g., info@yourdomain.com

  • Password

  • Incoming server (IMAP/POP3): usually pop.yourdomain.com

  • Outgoing server (SMTP): usually smtp.yourdomain.com

  • Ports:

     

    • IMAP: 993 (SSL) or 143 (non-SSL)

    • POP3: 995 (SSL) or 110 (non-SSL)

    • SMTP: 465 (SSL) or 587 (TLS)

     

Steps

 

  1. Open Outlook

  2. Go to File > Add Account

  3. Choose Manual setup or additional server types

  4. Select POP or IMAP

  5. Fill in:

     

    • Your Name

    • Email Address

    • Account Type: IMAP (recommended)

    • Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain.com

    • Outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomain.com

    • Username: full email address

    • Password

     

  6. Click More Settings:

     

    • Under Outgoing Server tab:

       

      • Enable My outgoing server requires authentication

      • Use same settings as incoming

       

    • Under Advanced tab:

       

      • IMAP port: 993 (SSL)

      • SMTP port: 465 (SSL) or 587 (TLS)

       

     

  7. Click OK > Next > Finish.
